Know Before You Owe: CFPB Solicits Feedback

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is seeking feedback from the mortgage lending industry on two different versions of the form that consolidates the HUD-1 Settlement Statement and Truth in Lending Disclosure.  The proposed disclosure forms, Mimosa and Sassafras, are for the same loan product.  The CFPB is requesting a vote on the format that best describes to the customer final loan terms and closing costs.  To access the forms and vote, please click here.
