Fannie Mae has issued the following Announcement 09-13: Home Affordable Refinance - Updates and Clarifications to Announcement 09-04. The Announcement addresses the following: (1) outlines the applicability of standard representations and warranties for underwriting and documentation, including the treatment of certain discrepancies discovered through Fannie Mae's quality control process; and (2) modifies and clarifies several eligibility guidelines contained in Announcement 09-04.
